The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, took to social media and expressed his gratitude to St Kitts and Nevis residents for observing the safest Christmas and Carnival celebrations to date.
PM Drew underlined that the 2023 Christmas season and SugarMas52 celebrations have been documented in the annuls of St Kitts and Nevis history as one of the safest Christmas and Carnival celebrations ever observed.
PM Dr Terrance Drew expressed his joy and thanked St Kitts and Nevis residents for prioritising their safety first during the carnival and christmas celebration.
He noted, “I say this while feeling immense pride and gratitude in my spirit. I am deeply grateful and proud of our nation because it is clear to me that the people made the right choice by making safety their priority throughout the majority of our festive season’s events.
Prime Minister Terrance Drew also expressed gratitude to the Commissioner of Police James Sutton, the officers of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Comrie, the soldiers of the St Kitts and Nevis Defence Force for their national service and relentless dedication and loyalty to maintain the peace throughout st kitts and nevis during the carnival.
The prime minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, emphasised that the dedicated and diligent work of the police force and soldiers this season clearly raised the standard of safety and security in Twins Island.
Further-more, Prime Minister Terrance Drew also extends gratitude to the National Security Advisor Dr Lionel V. Rawlins, Special Advisor Dr Edwin Powell and staff for helping to deliver one of the safest carnivals in St. Kitts and Nevis.
PM Drew has encouraged the St. Kitts and Nevis residents to always look out for their safety.
He noted, “Thank you on behalf of the entire nation for this incredible accomplishment. Let us continue on this path to create a sound environment of peace and security.“
