The St Kitts Electricity Company (SKELEC) has published the scheduled maintenance outages for the week starting January 23, 2023, to January 27, 2023. These maintenance outages are deemed essential to ensure the reliability and quality of the electricity company.
In the update, they informed the people of St Kitts that on Monday, January 23, 2023, the areas Carifesta Village, Douglas Commercial, Carifesta Housing Project, Douglas Development and new Road Extension would be affected by the outages from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, the Keys East Housing Project will come under the areas affected by the maintenance drive of the SKELEC. The maintenance is scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Further, on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, Paris Supermarket Area and the Water Works Cayon will go through a maintenance drive according to the update the St Kitts Electricity Company Limited shared from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Meanwhile, On Thursday, January 26, Half-moon Bay and Dolphin rise areas will begin maintenance. The workers of the SKELEC begin work at 9:00 AM and conclude at 3:00 PM.
Finally, on January 27, SKELEC workers will start their maintenance drive at the Serendipity Restaurant Area Fort Lands. The workers and technicians of the St Kitts Electricity Company Limited will do the maintenance between 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The St Kitts Electricity Company Limited has been running scheduled maintenance regularly for the last three weeks in the various areas of St Kitts. The electricity company has notified the people in the affected areas that the power cut timings are subject to change as the power may be cut earlier and restored later than the scheduled times.
