Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew and the Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, attended the National Day health walk hosted by St Kitts and Nevis in honour of the 11th National Day of the Republic of China, (Taiwan).
The National day of Taiwan, also called Double Ten Day, Double Tenth Day, will be celebrated on October 10, 2022.
Both the leaders of St Kitts and Nevis shared their excitement and warm wishes on the occasion.
Premier Mark Brantley took to his Facebook Account to express his excitement for attending the event with the Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew and several other federation leaders.
Along with the leaders of the federation, the resident Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Micheal Lin, also attended the event.
Premier Brantley wrote:
Happy this morning to join Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew and HE Ambassador Michael Lin along with Hon Alexis Jeffers Hon Shawn Richards Hon Marsha Henderson Hon Dr Joyelle Clarke and Latoya Biyanca Jones in wishing our dear friend #Taiwan a Happy 111th National Day. Taiwan is not just a friend to #StKitts #Nevis. Taiwan is our best friend #DiplomacyMatters
On the other hand, Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew also took to his Facebook Account to share his pleasure on attending the event.
He wrote:
It was a pleasure participating in the Republic of China (Taiwan) Health Walk today October 8, 2022.
The Republic of China (Taiwan) ’s national day (Double Ten Day) will be celebrated on Monday 10th October 2022.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew and Premier Mark Brantley have shared a friendly relationship. Since Dr Drew’s formal appointment as the nation’s Prime Minister, he has maintained that he aspires to be the Prime Minister of both the islands, St Kitts and Nevis.
Following the first meeting with the Prime Minister, Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley had stated that he had faith in the capability of Dr Terrance Drew as their Prime Minister
