Minister of Foreign Affairs and the senior-most member of the Federal Cabinet of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas, took to his Facebook account to extend his warm wishes to the newly appointed board of directors, working for the welfare of the people of the country.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew made these appointments.
Janet Harris was appointed as the new Chairperson for the Social Security Board of Directors, and Shavon Douglas was appointed as the Chairperson for the Development Bank Board of Directors.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Denzil Douglas has a reputation for uplifting his government by sharing warm greetings, congratulations and regular updates on the workings of the government.
He did not stay back this time as well. Dr Douglas announced the appointments through his social media and also talked wished the two new additions well for their work and tenure in their respective offices.
He wrote: CONGRATULATIONS to MRS JANET HARRIS and MR SHAVON DOUGLAS on their New Appointments as Chairperson of the Social Security Board of Directors and the Chairperson for Development Bank Board of Directors, respectively. The Appointments were made by the Hon PM Dr Terrance Drew. Both Appointed Chairpersons have extensive working experience and training in their fields.

Dr Douglas is currently visiting Peru to attend the OAS General Assembly. While there, he got the chance to interact with world leaders.
The 52nd edition of the OAS General Assembly was held from October 5-7, 2022. The OAS hosted the event at the Lima Convention Centre. World leaders who attended the event divulged themselves in discussing crucial issues regarding the strengthening democracy, promoting and protecting human rights, multidimensional security, and integral development. All these issues are considered the key pillars of the OAS.
