Billionaire philanthropist and Microsoft corporation founder Bill Gates recently stated that the coronavirus testing in the United States is slow and lacks fair access.
The billionaire stated that is is “mind-blowing” that the government has not yet improved the coronavirus testings in the country as the virus continues to hit the nation.
Bill Gates made these remarks on Sunday at CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS” where he added that million dollars are being paid in every inequitable way to get worthless results in the USA.
Furthermore, he asserted that a variety of initial failures by the US and then the political environment suggested that we failed to get our testing going.
Gates cited that long queues at commercial labs and obstructions in receiving test results, suggesting that “you pay as much for the late result as the timely result.” When “wealthy people have access to certain quick-turnaround tests.”
“It’s mind-blowing that you can’t get the administration or the government to develop the examination because they just want to say how magnificent it is,” Gates stated.
Public officials have repeatedly called procrastination in testing results in the US as an obstruction to immediate engagement tracking and isolation of people contaminated with the virus.
President Donald Trump has supported the US record on testing as “the finest and the best in the world,” describing to Fox News last week that half of the country’s testing is “short-term.”
Gates repeated that he expects the US to mainly get through this COVID-19 crisis and pandemic by the end of next year as therapeutics and a vaccine become accessible.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has promised more than $350 million toward COVID-19 study. A large amount of it has gone towards funding research and manufacturing capacity that will help a vaccine be distributed globally.
