United Airlines announces cancellation of several bus routes

United Airlines, a USA Based air carrier has announced their intention to discontinue the domestic bus routes between airports in the coming weeks. The airline has been running on ground services for airports which are now under axe.

The confirmation of this development has come from the high level management of the airlines during the previous week. The airline is no longer serving the Denver to Fort Collins, Colorado, (DEN-FNL) and Newark, New Jersey, to Allentown, Pennsylvania, (EWR-ABE) Landline services.

The development will come into effect in the late summer and fall months of the year with several routes being affected. The discontinuation of service will affect the travel plans of several people who have booked for their trips well in advance.

The Denver to Fort Collins, Colorado, Landline service will no longer be active starting from July 31. Newark, New Jersey to Allentown, Pennsylvania route will stop functioning starting on September 1. The announcements for the same have already come in order to facilitate rebookings for the people who will be affected by this development.

The airline has also confirmed that they are reaching out to the customers to discuss rebooking options for them after the announcement went out. The airline has clarified that they want to focus on other opportunities that are coming their way.

The United Airlines will be responsible for reaccommodating and rebooking the passengers through different airports. The customers whose rebookings are not feasible to their travel plans cam also be eligible for a partial refund.

The cancellation is another addition to a long-standing list of cancellations and delays in the recent months. United Airlines has been coming under scrutiny in the recent past with several incidents putting a question mark on aviation safety.

Several other issues like flight cuts have also been known to cause dissatisfaction among the people using United Airlines. The airlines spokesperson also said that they are experiencing technical issues is staffing.
