St Kitts and Nevis’ Roxanne Roche, the daughter of the former Tourism Authority CEO Rosecita Bartlette-Jeffers, is all set to represent Orlando, as ‘Mrs Black Orlando’ in the Miss Black Florida Scholarship Pageant.
The ‘Miss Black Florida Scholarship Pageant’ is scheduled to take place on November 9th and 10th, 2024 at the Pinellas Park Performing Arts Center, Florida.
Roxanne Roche is a proud Afro-Caribbean-American who has dedicated her life to community service and advocacy. She has done dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Nursing from the University of Central Florida.
Roxanne has volunteered in Guatemala, Mexica, Puerto Rico, Texas, and across Florida, making impactful and significant changes in countless lives.
Presently, she has been working with the Florida Health Department on chronic disease prevention and minority health initiatives through her Prevention and Wellness Initiative.
The victory of the Miss Black Florida Scholarship Pageant will provide Roxanne with a larger platform and plenty of opportunities to amplify her efforts, advocating for better health and ensuring that everyone is heard.
