The minister of Agriculture in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, Samal Duggins, recently took to his social media account to share an update regarding the staging of the monthly edition of the agriculture open market in the country. Under Minister Duggins’s leadership, the Ministry of Agriculture has staged several meetings and interactions with the agriculture community members. The Minister of Agriculture, fisheries and marine resources has taken several important steps to uplift the sector.
Hosting the regular agriculture day open in the country is an important part of the mandate of Minister Samal Duggins. The May edition of the Agriculture Night Market will occur on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. The event will allow entrepreneurs in the agriculture sector to showcase their products and carry out profitable trade with the community members. This month’s edition of the monthly event will be held at the Basseterre Public Market from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM.
Regarding the event’s specifics, Minister Samal Duggins invited interested individuals to come forward and register themselves. Minister Duggins shared that they are extremely serious about the country’s agriculture sector. Accordingly, he shared information about the registration process for the country’s agriculture sector.
According to the update shared by the government-owned information service, Registration forms are now available at the Basseterre Public Market, the Department of Agriculture, LaGuerite, the Department of Marine Resources and the Ministry of Agriculture, Building #16, Port Zante.
