The popular directing duo, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo shared some details about the highly awaited Marvel films, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars that are scheduled to release in 2026 and 2027, respectively.
The Russo brothers recently attended the world premiere of ‘The Electric Slate’ which was hosted at the historic Egyptian Theatre Hollywood in Los Angeles, United States.
During one of their interviews, Joe said that the movies are being shot back-to-back in London with quite a hectic schedule. He added, “We may or may not survive, we’ll see”.
The director also stated that they have found a way into the story that might be challenging for the audiences as it is for them to execute.
Moreover, to keep the fans curious, Joe Russo teased the fans with a “Who knows? I don’t know” when asked if any X-men or Deadpool character will be featured in the upcoming movies.
The fans are waiting for the upcoming Avengers movies even more since the news of Robert Downey Jr. returning to the MCU has been announced. The actor, formerly playing Iron Man, will return as the antagonist Doctor Doom, bringing in fresh perspectives and old fans back to the franchise.
