Celebrity Reflection, a cruise ship from the fleet of Solstice-class cruise ships docked at St. Kitts’ Port Zante on September 8. This cruise call to the shores of St Kitts is the first for the month of September and was welcomed with great vigour.
The Celebrity Reflection cruise ship will be visiting the island two more times on cruise calls during the month of September. The Celebrity Reflection is the sister ship to the Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Eclipse, Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Silhouette. reflection is the fifth, final and largest shop of the fleet.
Prior to St Kitts and Nevis, the ship had arrived from Castries, St. Luc⁷ia as a part of a 9-day Southern Caribbean cruise. The destinations that the ship has covered include Tortola, Antigua, and Barbados, where the ship stopped during the second half of the previous week.
The cruise ship carried over 2,900 passengers and brought a boost of economic activity to the island of St Kitts with their arrival. The officials have shared that the people of St Kitts and Nevis were delighted to have the opportunity to welcome this influx of passengers.
The officials have shared that many of the crew members came down to the shores to add to the business of the people of St Kitts and Nevis. The cruise arrival was good for taxi drivers, tour operators, vendors, restaurateurs and other persons in the tourism industry busy.
The local crafts also saw significant business during the cruise day which suggests that the people were happy to explore this part and side of the twin island. Many of the businesses including local bars and eateries also saw an increased attention from the passengers.
The people were delighted to have the opportunity to explore the culinary offerings and specialties for the day. The ship left the island of St Kitts at Approximately 6:00 PM on Monday and will be stopping next at Port Canaveral on September 11th.
The Celebrity Reflection will return to Port Zante on September 17th and 23rd.
