A team of officers from the St. Kitts Tourism Authority (SKTA) participated in a Caribbean Showcase hosted by the Tourism Authority in London, England. The officials have shared during the Caribbean showcase, the team members that attended the event participated in 38 productive meetings with UK tour operators.

The showcase is part of the Tourism Authority’s efforts to bring more focus and attention to the island of St. Kitts. The tourism stakeholders of the country have been dedicatedly working on improving arrival numbers and increasing tourism based opportunities for the nation.

The officials have shared some images from the meetings and the showcase which was hosted at the event. The St. Kitts Tourism Authority has shared the details from the event on their social media and through a statement.

“The meetings focused on strategies to grow visitor arrivals to St. Kitts and highlighting the destination’s unique selling points for every type of traveler,” the SKTA said.

The SKTA-sponsored Caribbean Showcase in London was organized by the CTO Chapter UK & Europe. The organization has been working over the course of months to increase interest for the destination through various measures and initiatives.

The St. Kitts Tourism Authority was represented at the event by Chelcie Lewis, Sales & Marketing Consultant for the UK Market.

United Kingdom is a very important market for the organisation and the organisation has shared that they have started several initiatives to inspire travellers from that side of the world to show interest in the Caribbean.
