St Kitts to host first women's cricket bilateral series of 2025 between West Indies and Bangladesh

St Kitts will be hosting the first women’s cricket bilateral series of 2025 between West Indies and Bangladesh team at Warner Park Sports Stadium, in Basseterre from January 19 to 31, 2025.

The cricket series will be played for six days, featuring three T20 Internationals and three CG United ODIs (One Day Internationals).

The white-ball tour (a series of matches played with white balls for limited overs) will be played in St Kitts with the Bangladesh Women’s team arriving in St Kitts on January 19, 2025, ahead of the first match.

The West Indies Women team arrived in St Kitts and have started their practice sessions for the upcoming matches.

Tour Schedule of West Indies vs Bangladesh Women’s Team

The tour will include morning and afternoon practice sessions with the two teams meeting from 9:30 am to 12:30 am and then from 1:30 am to 4:30 am, with some evening practice sessions from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The cricket series will start with three ODI matches with the first match on January 19, 2025, at Warner Park. The second match will be played on January 21, 2025, and the third match is scheduled for January 24, 2025. These matches will increase the rankings of the winning team in the ICC standing.

The T20 matches will kick-start from January 27, 2025, second match scheduled for January 29, 2025, and the third match for January 31, 2025.

World Cup Qualification

The team with better and stronger performance will pave their way straight to the qualification for the World Cup.

Previous matches between West Indies vs Bangladesh Women

The last time the two teams played against each other was on October 10th, 2024, in the ODI match, with West Indies claiming the victory by 8 wickets.

Their last T20 match was on 9th November, 2018 at Guyana’s Providence Stadium during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

West Indies and Bangladesh Women teams have played against each other five times, four in T20Is and once in an ODI, with the West Indies Women Team winning every time.
