St Kitts and Nevis: The St Kitts Ministry of Tourism, Sustainable Travel International, in collaboration with St Kitts Sustainable Destination Council, is going to host St Kitts Sustainable Enterprise training from December 12 to December 13 2023.
The free two-day training training workshop will focus on climate action.
what to expect during the training
• Input into the Climate Action Plan development process.
• Sharing of experiences, challenges, and solutions with peers.
• Learning how to develop own Climate Action Plan for own business.
The main outcomes of the meeting are as follows.
• The importance of climate action in the tourism industry.
• How to make a business case for going green.
• What is the government doing to take action against climate change?
• Actions you can take within the business if needed.

Apart from the training workshop, the attendees will get a chance to get involved in different activities. To articulate only a few activities, the training will include a half-day field trip to witness climate action projects in action, and a complimentary lunch will be provided on both days.
The Ministry of Tourism is encouraging people of St. Kitts and Nevis to register and secure their sport before the workshop registration deadline.
