Basseterre, St. Kitts: St. Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee (SKNOC) has announced the St. Kitts and Nevis Team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The announcement of the team was made on July 13, 2024 and the Opening Ceremony is scheduled for July 26th, 2024

The selected team is all set to showcase the Federation’s athletic power on the global stage. Troy Nisbett is a 15-year-old swimming sensation who is said to make a history as the St. Kitts and Nevis’s Team’s first ever aquatic competitor.

Nisbett was included in the team through a universality spot which marks a milestone achievement, highlighting the dedication and the rapid rise in the Caribbean swimming circuit.

Another athlete from the nation joining Troy Nisbett in the Olympic Team is Naquille Harris, the current National’s Men’s 100-meter champion. Along with this, Harris is a standout sprinter from the University of Cincinnati.

He is 22 years old and has recently clinched the Olympic Trials with impressive performances. He is also setting new records in sports and earning significant mark of achievements in collegiate athletics.

Completing the St. Kitts and Nevis Olympic Team is Zahria Allers-Liburd, an emerging star in women’s sprinting and is the current title holder of the St. Kitts and Nevis Women’s 100-meters.

Her outstanding performances in national qualifiers have been highlighted by the personal bests and positions her as a dominant competitor in Paris Olympics 2024.

The three members of the Team will compete on universality spots, granted to NOCs to ensure global representation in the Olympics.
