The St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee (SKNNCC) has taken to their social media account to share their pride and gratitude to the reigning National Carnival Queen of St Kitts and Nevis, for representing them at the Jaycees Queen Show. The show took place on Monday, July 31, 2023. The National Carnival Queen of St Kitts and Nevis competed alongside nine beautiful women from across the caribbean.
- The participating ladies were: Adicia Burton representing the Commonwealth of Dominica
- Rynel Harris representing the United States Virgin Islands
- Miriam Alexander representing Guyana
- Shadyn McClean representing St Vincent and The Grenadines
- Jareena Penn representing the British Virgin Islands
- Valentchina Dantes representing Haiti
- Janet Turner representing Montserrat
- Shanice Butcher represents Saint Lucia
- Ischikelle Corbin represents Antigua and Barbuda
Even though Shafeyah Guishard was not successful in bringing the title of the Miss Jaycees Queen home for the second year in a row, the people of the country applauded the effort that she put into competing as a representative of St Kitts and Nevis. St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee., SKNNCC, took the initiative to applaud and encourage the young woman to do well in her future endeavours.
The St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival committee (SKNNCC) shared that the event was an opportunity for the young woman to get an idea of the competition that they is expected to deal with for the future term as the national carnival queen 2022-23.

Talking about the future endevours, the Carnival Committee shared that Shafeyah has sets her sights on the Miss Caribbean Culture Pageant next Monday. They have urged the people of the country to rally behind her with massive support and encouragement! Every competition is a chance to learn and grow, and we do not doub that Shafeyah will embrace it positively. The regal adventure continues.
