St Kitts and Nevis police responded to a report of firing in the vicinity of the Golden Grove Projects at around 10:15 pm on January 20. As per information gunshots have been fired by some persons.
As per preliminary investigations, its has been revealed that four persons including two juveniles were in a yard when two masked assailants approached them and fired several shots towards their direction before fleeing the spot. Fortunately, no one was reported injured in the firing incident.
Members from the Forensics Unit visited and processed the crime scene. Items of evidential value were taken into custody by the police.
Making an appeal to people, who might have any information in relation to this incident police have asked to call the Violent Crimes Unit (Nevis) at 469-5269 or their nearest Police Station. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
