The St Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) is upgrading the Airport terminal Air Conditioning System at the Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport along with other upgrades to ensure the overall improvement of passenger experience at the airport.
The St. Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) continues to provide the best passenger experience at their airports, which is why the authorities are taking up these timely upgrades.
This timely upgrade of the airport facilities includes installing ten (10) Air Handlers, nine (9) of which have already been installed, and a new condensing unit. This project had initially commenced works three months ago, in May 2022. The project had to encounter delays in execution due to supply chain challenges.
The installation of the new condensing unit, which started on the 13th of August, is underway. Further, evaluations and inspections are ongoing.
While the authorities install the new condensing unit, St Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) has provided a secondary air conditioning unit to help cool the airport spaces and ensure the comfort of staff, passengers and vendors.
The authorities have put a number of Safety and security measures in place to minimize the risk of incidents and security breaches during this time.
The project is expected to be concluded by the end of August 2022.
