The minister of Agriculture in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, Samal Duggins, took to his social media account to applaud the Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis and Minister of Housing et al. for his work in the field of housing in the government of St Kitts and Nevis. He also urged the people of his parliamentary constituency to take advantage of the housing initiative in the country.

The Minister of Housing recently signed an agreement with The National Housing Corporation to construct 2400 houses for the country’s people. Dr Geoffrey Hanley also delivered brief remarks while launching the housing initiative. The programme will benefit the people of the country.

Commemorating the same, Minister Samal Duggins stated that In less than nine months in office, St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party-led administration has successfully launched its online application portal to allow persons to apply to own one of the 2400 smart homes that will be built over the next four years.

The housing initiative of the country seeks to provide affordable smart housing to the people. For this reason, the country’s housing minister has reached out to the NHC and the banks in the country to reach an agreement which allows the people of the country access to affordable housing. The government has also promised that they seek to find housing solutions for the people who are purchasing houses for the first time.

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resources et al, Samal Duggins, applauded the minister’s initiative and encouraged the people of his constituency, C4 to apply as soon as possible. He stated that I understand the website is temporarily down due to the influx of applications. However, I am advised it will be back up and running this afternoon.

Further, Minister Samal Duggins said in his social media account, Kudos to our hardworking Deputy Prime Minister, Dr Geoffrey Hanley, and his team for providing affordable housing solutions to our people.
