The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, has recently taken to his social media account to announce the start of the Restaurant Week of St Kitts and Nevis. The Nevis leg of the restaurant week, Tasting Showcase, will be hosted on Sunday, July 16, 2023. The prime minister expressed his utmost delight in hosting the significant event.
The country’s Prime Minister shared the event’s pamphlet and urged the country’s people to attend the Nevis Leg of the restaurant week. The tasting showcase will feature the year’s theme local ingredient: Pineapple. All the food items in the tasting showcase will feature this theme ingredient.
The tasting showcase is being held under the theme: A celebration of St Kitts and Nevis’s local cuisine. Restaurant Week is one of the most sought-after week-long culinary festivals or events that celebrates the local offerings of the twin island federation.
The Federation has been hosting restaurant week for the last several years. The event is a way for the Caribbean nation to celebrate the local cuisine, culture and talent of the local chefs in the country. The country’s people have come to expect the week-long celebration to support the local restaurants and dine with their families, partaking in the celebration.
The Nevis Restaurant Week will start on July 13 and conclude on July 23. St Kitts already hosted their leg of the Tasting Showcase on Sunday, July 9. The theme ingredient, Pineapple, was prominent in all the delicacies that the country’s chefs whipped up for their attendants.
Interested people are required to get tickets for the event at the Ministry of Tourism’s main office in Nevis. The island nation’s people have been working to make the event unforgettable for tourists and visitors. The venue of the festival is: Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park (Pinneys Beach) from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The resturant week will serve as an opportunity to attract countless tourists and visitors to the island for the restaurant week.
