Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, hosted a meeting with the fire services leadership in Nevis on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
In the meeting, the premier interacted with the fire services operational in Nevis, getting updated on the various issues of importance. He discussed the problems that were affecting the officers of the fire services department and the delivery of services to the people of Nevis, hoping to solve those problems.
The Premier of Nevis also expressed gratitude to the fire officers for their hard work and commitment to keeping the people safe. He ensured them that the administration in Nevis would continue to work for the betterment and upliftment of the people on the island.
Mark Brantley further committed to working with them (fire officers) and the federal government to ensure that quality resources and services are available to the people of Nevis.
Premier Brantley took to his Facebook account to share the information and the update with the people of Nevis. He wrote:
Excellent meeting with the leadership of the Fire Services on Nevis this morning as I was updated on issues impacting the officers and the delivery of service to Nevis. I thank our fire officers for their hard work and commitment to keeping us safe and commit to continuing to work with them and the Federal government in delivering exceptional service to Nevis.
Following the clean-sweep victory secured by the premier and his CCM comrades, the premier is now looking forward to engaging with the newly elected Prime Minister and his cabinet and ensuring the development and welfare of the people of the two islands.
Since the conclusion of the general elections, Premier Brantley and the NIA have been sharing various updates regarding the development of Nevis Island. Recently Alexandra Hospital in Nevis was installed with a housing enclosure for a new CT machine, the update regarding which was shared by Premier Nevis on his official social media accounts.
