Premier of Nevis and Leader of the Concerned Citizens Movement, Mark Brantley, is sponsoring a critical anti-bullying campaign in Ivor Walters Primary School. He provided a sponsorship cheque to the school, which is also his alma mater.
According to Premier Brantley, Bullying is a significant issue in schools and the wider community. This issue needs to be addressed and resolved. Thus, while presenting the sponsorship cheque to the educational institution, he expressed his delight in doing his part.
The Premier of Nevis also expressed his happiness in working with IWPS on this vital initiative.
Premier Brantley expressed his gratitude to the Head Teacher, Janice Whittaker-Richards, Shevonne Lowe, and the entire team at IWPS for starting this incredible initiative.
Bullying is one of the leading causes of depression, anxiety and related psychological issues. Governments across the globe are providing support for anti-bullying regulations to be implemented in their respective nations to ensure the well-being of their people.

Further, Premier Mark Brantley, accompanied by his colleagues and members of the Ministry of education and the Ministry of Sports of Nevis, launched the Primary Schools Football tournament. He shared his pleasure at being able to attend the event and also shared his hope for a great tournament ahead.
