The Premier of Nevis and leader of the Concerned Citizens Movement, Mark Brantley, shared an update regarding the new developmental opportunities in Nevis. He went on his social media accounts to share the update.
For the first order of business, Premier Brantley shared an update regarding the robust, fully integrated emergency dispatch system operational in Nevis shortly. The dispatch system will help facilitate the smooth functioning of the Police, Fire and Ambulance services of the island.
According to Premier Brantley, this emergency dispatch system will take emergency response in Nevis to modern standards.
In the social media post, Premier Brantley talked about a comprehensive briefing hosted by the authorities. In the briefing, the presenters educated the various stakeholders involved in the project about the system.
The stakeholders also became aware of the critical upgrades in the systems that need to be implemented into the plans.
The Premier took to his Facebook account to thank the Four Seasons Homeowners Foundation for financing the system. He also extended his sincere gratitude to Permanent Secretary Shelisa Martin for guiding this project from its inception three years ago.
