The Police force of St Kitts and Nevis have charged twenty-four (24)-year-old Jehu Kelly of Gingerland, Nevis, on six (6) warrants. The police force took to their social media account to share the update on the sentencing of the culprit on the counts of the robbery. The robbery in connection of which twenty-four-year-old Jehu Kelly of Gingerland, Nevis, was charged was committed on July 7, 2023.
The incident took place at Lover’s Lane in St. Paul’s area of St. Kitts. Further, the police force has also taken the initiative to clarify that this is not the first offence for the culprit in question. Kelly was found guilty of another robbery incident. At the Sandy Point Police Station on July 24, 2023, the St Kitts and Nevis Police force charged Kelly with other charges.
At the sandy point police station, He received the following charges:
Four (4) counts of Robbery
one (1) count of Possession of a Firearm;
one (1) count of Possession of a Firearm with Intent to endanger life or cause serious bodily harm.
The police officials took the man in question in custody. It is to be noted that the person is a repeat offender and remains undeterred in his pursuit of continuing his criminal activities even after he has been sentenced on several separate occasions by the police force of St Kitts and Nevis.
Further, it is to be noted that on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, the Police laid an additional three (3) charges against Kelly at the Sandy Point Police Station. These charges are as follows:
- one count of Robbery
- one count of Possession of a Firearm
- one count of Possession of a Firearm with Intent to endanger life or cause serious bodily harm.
