The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, along with his cabinet of ministers, continues to receive messages of congratulations from prominent leaders worldwide. So far, almost all Caribbean countries and organisations have sent wishes and congratulatory messages to the Prime Minister.
Leader of Colombia, The British Virgin Islands and Prominent leaders of the United States of America have sent in congratulatory messages, wishing for a successful tenure for the newly elected Prime Minister.
Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic (Greece) Kyriakos Mitsokatis has congratulated the Honourable Dr Terrance Drew on his appointment as the fourth Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis.
In a congratulatory message sent from the Embassy of the Hellenic Republic to Dr Terrance Drew, Greek PM Mitsokatis said:
He wrote, “On the occasion of your election as Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, accept my warm congratulations and best wishes for the success of your mission.”
He stated, “The friendly relations between Greece and Saint Kitts and Nevis are based on the shared values of peace, freedom and democracy.”
He expressed that he was confident that during Prime Minister Drew’s term in office, the two countries will further deepen our cooperation, address our common concerns and achieve our shared vision for a peaceful and prosperous world.”
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Mr Ramtane Lamamra, also congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Economic Development, International Trade, Investment, Industry and Commerce, of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas.
In the congratulatory note that was dispatched from the Embassy of Algeria in Caracas, the Minsiter of foreign affairs stated:
He extended best wishes to Dr Douglas, writing, “On the occasion of your appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Saint Kitts and Nevis, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes for your success in performing your duties at the service of the interests of your country.”
He took this opportunity to express to Dr Douglas, the former’s willingness to work with him towards strengthening the relationship of friendship and cooperation that unite our two countries.”
Finally, he restated his congratulations and expressed his highest regards to his St Kitts and Nevis counterpart.
