The prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew recently traveled to Barbados to deliver a brief address at the 84th Conference and Awards Ceremony of the Barbados Labour Party. As the representative and head of the oldest political party associated with the Labour Movement, Dr Drew was extremely happy to be invited to the event.
The Prime Minister shared a post on his social media to detail his experience. The Barbados Labour Party has been active for over 8 decades in the English speaking Caribbean. The Prime Minister shared that he received a warm welcome from the Barbados Labour Party.
Dr Drew announced that he delivered the feature address at the Barbados Labour Party’s 84th Conference and Awards Ceremony. During the ceremony, the stakeholders and members of the labour party organization were recognized for their tremendous contributions to the growth and history of the political party.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew asserted that he was touched by the heartwarming introduction given by Davidson Ishmael. The Minister of Industry, Innovation, Science and Technology, and the executive and members of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) gave the leader of the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party a warm welcome into the introduction.
The people of St Kitts and Nevis appreciated Dr Terrance Drew for taking the initiative to visit Barbados for the occasion. Many people claimed that Dr Drew was in good company with the political leaders and members of the Barbados Labour Party.
Dr Drew extended his congratulations once again to all of the awardees who were recognized during the ceremony. He also applauded the rixh and long-standing history of the Barbados Labour Party.
In this regard, the prime minister Dr Terrance Drew extended his sincere gratitude to the Leader of the BLP, Prime Minister Mia Mottley, the executive, and members of the BLP for having me.
