The Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew met with the St Kitts and Nevis Diaspora in Sint Maarten. The head of the St Kitts and Nevis federal government claimed that he was proud to engage with the members of the diaspora living in Sint Maarten.
He shared that the members of the diaspora shared their stories with the Prime Minister and his team. The Prime Minister, who periodically meets the members of the diaspora during every overseas and inter regional trip.
Dr Drew shared some images from his meeting with the Kittitian and Nevisian Diaspora. He was delighted to hear their stories and discuss their successes; Dr Drew was proud to note that they were the most loyal diaspora and cared deeply about their homeland wherever they went.
PM Drew expressed that the meeting gave him a sense of pride on seeing the diaspora’s love for the federation. The Prime Minister was also proud to note that the members of the Kittitian and Nevisian diaspora had worked wonderfully in Sint Maarten.
The diaspora has reached great heights in Sint Maarten in terms of business, education, and leadership. The Prime Minister was proud of the diaspora for the contributions that they have made in these sectors in Sint Maarten.
During this diaspora meeting, the Prime Minister of Sint Maarten, Dr. Luc Mercelina also dropped in for a surprise. He extended his best wishes and pledged to work with the federation of St Kitts and Nevis in Solidarity.
