The prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, took to social media and announced that he got an opportunity to visit multiple places that needed renovations in Twins Island.
PM Drew took to social and announced that he visited multiple places in the town of Cayon, where there are numerous projects underway.
Prime Minister Terrance Drew announced that he visited the well site where BEAD has been progressing the well to bring the needed water to the people of Cayon. Water has been one of the detrimental issues in St Kitts and Nevis since last year.
PM Drew also took the initiative and visited the community centre where he’s working to reopen it, and it is in the final stage.
Additionally, PM Drew announced that lastly, he visited Cayon High School, where the bathrooms have been redone.
The painting by alums, parents and staff led by Principal Ms. Wattley was taking place. PM Drew applauded the efforts of the teachers and the parents of the Cayon High School for their effort and dedication towards their children’s education.
Additionally, Pm Drew announced the progress of the St. Peters Main Road Project, which is officially underway.
Dr Terrance Drew emphasised that this initiative marks a significant step forward in the govnment commitment to enhancing the infrastructure and ensuring better connectivity for all citizens.
Furthermore, PM Drew emphasised that the project’s commencement represents the government’s dedication to improving the St Kitts and Nevis communities.
Additionally, PM Drew announced that the work has officially begun on the new bus stop for the St Peters community.
This project is aimed at enhancing public transportation accessibility, ensuring convenience for residents, and promoting sustainable mobility.
