The Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley shared the highlights of several projects that are under progressive construction in the island nation of Nevis. He posted the insights of the projects through his official Facebook account.
Mark Brantley toured several significant project sites in Nevis starting with Brown Hill Feeder Hill which has recently been completed. He mentioned that his administration is dedicated to enhance the infrastructural department of the island nation.
During his visit to the Brown Hill Feeder Road, he stated that the completion of this project will play a huge role in taking traffic down to the Mondo Track and Long Point/Cherry Gardens area. He appreciated Spencer R Brand and the PWD team for their commendable work towards the road.
The Premier’s second visit was to the massive renovations being done at the Bath Stream in Nevis. He expressed his joy on witnessing the progress and said that he is impressed to see that the project is near completion.
He extended gratitude to PS John Hanley and Sylvester Josiah Meade for their great leadership towards executing this project with success.
Following that, he made a tour to the Cultural Complex and Cultural Village with a vision to see the finishing touch on the upgrades. While he visited the site, Premier Brantley mentioned that he is sure that all the residents of Nevis will definitely be pleased with the final outcome.
He also expressed that he loved the fact that the Cultural Complex project is a crucial investment made by the Nevis Island Administration as they have employed over 12 local contractors and over 65 local vendors.
The Premier of Nevis also congratulated Eric Evlyn, Deputy Premier of Nevis and his team for imagining and executing this project and to Alastair Anthony Thompson for supervising it.
Concluding the tour, Mark Brantley expressed confidence on witnessing the progressive construction, with most of the sites near completion. He said that the residents would be able to use these facilities soon.
With this tour, the Premier said that he will elevate the infrastructure to greater heights aiming to provide every amenity to the citizens of Nevis. He promised the people to continue to work for the island nation every day.
