Konris Maynard, Minister of Public Utilities, Transport, Information, Communication, Technology, and Post, hosted his first substantial meeting with the staff of the ICT Department.
The meeting occurred on Thursday, August 25, at the ICT Centre at the Paul Southwell Industrial Park. Several meaningful discussions regarding the future of the country and the government took place during the first meeting between the staff and the newly appointed Minister of Information and Communication, Konris Maynard.ย
Maynard took to his Facebook to share the update with regard to the meeting and expressed his pleasure at meeting the staff of the ICT department for his first meeting. He wrote:
It was my pleasure having the first substantial meeting with the staff of the ICT department at the ICT Centre at the Paul Southwell Industrial Park.
Konris Maynard added that he has complete faith that this Department has the skills and knowledge required to complete the promises made by the newly appointed Minister in his election manifesto. He wrote:

He added that with the support of the newly elected government of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party and himself as the Minister, the ICT Department is ready to make St Kitts and Nevis the envy of the region.
He finished his Facebook post by writing:
“With my commitment of support as the responsible Minister, along with the support of the new SKNLP Administration, it is clear to me that the ICT team is ready to make SKN the envy of the region when it comes to Digital Transformation.”
In his first week as the Minister of Public Utilities, Transport, Information, Communication, Technology, and Post, Konris Maynard visited the various offices under his jurisdiction, for instance, the SKELEC and the Post Office, for walkthroughs and introductory meetings.
