St Kitts: The Washington Archibald High School will face Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College in the first match of the Semi-Finals of the Jones Group Limited (JGL) Under 20 Females Secondary Schools Football Competition 2024.
As per the information, the match will be played on the grounds of Warner’s Park from 4:30 PM onwards. The second match of the Semi-Finals was scheduled to take place between the Saddlers Secondary School and the Charles E. Mills Secondary School.
However, as the other team has declined to take part in further sporting activities, the Charles E. Mills Secondary School has been directly advanced to the finals.
These teams have been shortlisted as per their earlier performances in the match fixtures held in January 2024.
Previously, the match was held on Thursday, (January 25) in two rounds. The first round of the match was scheduled to take place between the Saddlers Secondary School and the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College from 4 PM onwards.
The Second round was scheduled to take place between the Charles E Mills secondary and the Washington Archibald from 5:30 onwards at the Warner’s Park Football Stadium.
The Results of the match were as follows:
- The Saddlers Secondary secured a stunning victory of 2-1 over Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College in the first round.
- Charles E Mills Secondary emerged victorious against Washington Archibald in the second round.
While on the other match scheduled to be held on Monday (February 29), Charles E. Mills dominates with a 3-1 victory over Saddlers Secondary School in the first round of the match.
Further, Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College has also secured a commanding victory with an impressive 6 goals against Basseterre High School in the second round of the match held from 5:30 onwards, successfully securing its place in the Semi-Finals.
These matches were held in collaboration with several associations and the sectors of the nation. These include Eletto, Angosture Chill, Apple Super, Pro Video Production, St Kitts and Nevis Football Association, Government of St Kitts and Nevis and Nevis Department of Sports etc.
