Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis: In order for the public use, Island Auto Supplies donated six benches for the Frigate Bay Development Corporation at the Frigate Bay Lawn. The donation came as a part to wider ‘Frigate Bay Lawn Beautification Project.’
Serving for over three decades, Island Auto Supplies, which is a auto rental company has been a staple in the business community in St. Kitts. By donating benches, they have exercised their corporate responsibility.
The donation has been made on Friday, May 17, 2024. The Managing Director of the Frigate Bay Development Corporation, Slieh Boncamper received the benches from Sylvester “Seymour” Williams – Owner of Island Auto Supplies.
MD Boncamper extended a vote of thanks to the electronics company for their immense support and significant contribution. She highlighted the importance of public-private collaborations, which is a driving force behind the success of such initiatives.
She further encouraged other businesses to follow the example set by the private company in improving the visitor experience. The ceremony marked a significant milestone and the donation reflected upon the Island Auto Supplies’ strong commitment and dedication to promoting community involvement.
Notably, Frigate Bay is one of St Kitts‘ beloved and most visited recreation areas. The beautification project aims to elevate the standard and aesthetics of this place. The recently donated benches will provide travellers with a place to relax, unwind and admire the scenic views of the bay.
