St Kitts and Nevis: Eight cricketers from Nevis have travelled to Antigua for trial matches during a training camp.
The boys might also get selected for the Windies squad for upcoming tournaments after the training camp. The selection of the boys depends on their performance in the trial matches. This is proof of the hardwork and dedication that the the eight boys have put into becoming the best in their game
The selected players left for Antigua on Saturday. They will begin their training on Monday The eight boys are:
- De’Morae Prentice
- Deshawn James
- Jaeden Browne
- Kharese Farrel
- Rondre Daniel
- Treon Daniel
- Mikey Seegolam
- Aedan Williams.
The boys will train before the matches with the teenagers and Under 15 cricketers from other islands. The people of Nevis are proud of the teenagers over the fact that they were chosen for the training camp and trial matches.
The players will practice and improve their skills during the trial matches, and learn from their fellow players on the camp. The final team that will play on behalf of Cricket West Indies will be confirmed after the camp at the end of the week.

- Mikey Seegolam and Aedan Williams are not confirmed members of the West Indies Squad and can only play on the Leeward Island team.
However, depending on their performance, some or all of them may be included in the Windies squad.
The boys are talented and will make Nevis and the whole region proud. Deshawn James has already played with Jamaica in their under 17 team. Jaeden Browne is a gifted football player as well as a cricketer.
Rondre Daniel has been playing as a gifted bowler from Nevis. Batsman all rounder Treon Daniel will also make for a glowing addition to the squad.
