Dr Denzil Douglas, the Minister of Foreign affairs in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, expressed his pride on the successful conclusion of the St Kitts Music Festival. He took to his social media account to share glimpses from the remarkable music festival.
The Minister claimed that he was not able to attend and enjoy the event in person. However, he was able to get reviews and live comments on the way things had gone for the three-day event.
He applauded the performers who have made the twenty seventh edition of the festival a success. The Minister, Denzil Douglas shared video glimpses from the three-day event on his social media which he received from various sources.
He shed spotlight on his favourite parts of the three-day Musical event. He lauded artists like Romain Virgo and Christopher Martin on his social media posts and called their performances remarkable.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also reflected on the history and legacy of the St Kitts and Nevis Music Festival. At the inception of the St Kitts Music Festival, in he year 1996, Minister Douglas was the incumbent Prime Minister of the country.
The Minister said that at the time of the inaugural St Kitts Music Festival was a means to attract more tourism footfall during the slower months of the year. The then Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas is proud to see that the music festival has gained traction in almost three decades.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Denzil Douglas highlighted that the music festival has been growing in prominence every passing year. The Minister thanked all the stakeholders who helped make the event a resounding success.
