Cole Palmer, internationally renowned premier league star and Kittitian by roots made a surprise visit to the youth football clubs and camps. On Thursday, Police Co-operative Credit Union (PCCU) and the Security Forces Football Club’s Nu Generation Football Summer Camp welcomed him.

The football legend also visited the summer camp set up of all the other football clubs in the country, with youngsters and children receiving excitedly. The members of all the football club summer camps had gathered outside the Newtown Playing Field.

Sterry Palmer, who is a proud Kittitian and had moved to the United Kingdom later in life also joined the player during his surprise visit. The other members of his family, including his mother, father, sister and cousins also joined him.

On the other hand, Marcella Liburd who is the Governor-General of St. Kitts and Nevis and James Sutton, Commissioner of Police were also present during the surprise visit.

The officials have shared that they were proud to see Cole Palmer’s grandfather, Sterry returning to St Kitts and Nevis after making a name for himself in the sports field.

The youngsters who were part of the moment reported that they were delighted to see Cole Palmer and considered it inspiring to have seen him. These children got the opportunity to interact with the stars of the English Premier League.

The Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force appreciated that Cole Palmer was playing with the youngsters and made sure to teach them valuable lessons.

All football clubs in St Kitts took the opportunity to thank the English Premier League star for taking the time to meet them. The footballers legacy in the game is inspiring for the young people of the island.

Cole Palmer was part of the Chelsea football club which recently won the Club world cup in Miami. His visit to St Kitts and Nevis after such a massive victory is a matter of pride for the people of the island nation.
