Another cruise ship cancelled a call to St Kitts’ Port Zante last week.

“Please be advised that the Caribbean Princess will not be berthing at Port Zante on Friday 7th (February) 2020 as was previously scheduled,” a statement from the St Kitts Tourism Authority said on February 6, 2020.

The cancellation of the 3,592-passenger Caribbean Princess brings to 15 the number of cancelled calls to Port Zante for the 2019/2020 cruise ship season amidst growing concerns of stakeholders including taxi and small tour operators and vendors.

The cancellations come at a time when the 2019/2020 cruise ship season is projecting a decrease in the number of cruise ships and cruise passengers compared to the 2018/2019 season.
