A resident of Nevis, Earl Positive P Morton, has taken to his social media account to share his experience with the healthcare and facilities of Alexandra Hospital. The Hospital is one of the Primary healthcare institutions in Nevis.
The Nevis Island Administration, led by the Concerned Citizens Movement, is dedicated to uplifting the healthcare facilities in Nevis. For this reason, the CCM-led government has made several advancements in the development of the Alexandra Hospital.
The resident’s testimony, Earl Positive P Morton, further proves the government’s successes. The post, written by him, which the Premier of Nevis subsequently shared on his official Facebook page, read:
I spent four days as a patient at the Alexandra Hospital on Nevis, from Sunday to about an hour ago (Wednesday, December 21). I feel like telling our tiny community that the entire staff there, from doctors to nurses, to cleaners and servers, all of whom I came into contact with, were great in attitude and energy.
Overwhelmed as they are, they try their best with the available resources. I am grateful and can’t thank them enough for the love and care I received and the joy I felt when I witnessed the attention they gave to patients who were bedridden and thus couldn’t help themself on my ward. (It can be rough)
I am saying this because I’ve heard all sorts of and was concerned because I was struggling to breathe when I went in, my heart was racing, and I was getting a bad headache. Still, on arrival, they took evasive actions, and in no time, I was comfortable and felt confident that I was in the right place based on my condition.
