St Kitts and Nevis is celebrating 30 years of the Agriculture Open Day and Marine Expo as a part of the Caribbean Week of Agriculture. The event has been a part of the agricultural Calendar of the year for the people of St Kitts.
This year’s event is extra significant as the people of St Kitts and Nevis are completing 30 years of this initiative. The agricultural products, marine products and farming practices will be on display for the world to see.
Another fact that makes this event more special for the people of the country is the fact that this year’s commemoration is being hosted as a part of the CWA. The event will be hosted over the course of two days on October 2 and October 3.
The Minister of Agriculture has been dedicated to bringing more and more interest to this milestone staging for the people of the country. The Minister has been working with partners from across the region which suggests that this event is extremely important for the success of the Agriculture sector of St Kitts and Nevis.
The officials have shared that the people of the country can register for participation in the event. The Minister of Agriculture has shared that in 21 short days, the agriculture stakeholders of the country will come together.
The day of the event will be marked by several activities including music events, the entertainment will be taken care of by artists and bands from the Small Axe Band, Grandmasters Band, Kollision Band, Nu Vybes Int’l Band, and others.
The event will also feature several activities for the attendants including the Watermelon Eating Competition. The event will also feature some Cultural Performances, and an OECS CARICOM Honey Show.
The officials have shared that the members of the community feel proud and happy as the event clocks in three decades.
