Spirit Airlines, US-based low-cost carrier has resumed service to Cap-Haitien in Haiti.

With this relaunch, Spirit would operate the only nonstop flights between the United States and northern Haiti on Tuesdays, Sundays and Thursdays.

Doris Graham, General Manager in Port-au-Prince and Cap-Haitien for Spirit Airlines, said that they love giving their guests more options, and we think flying people from Cap-Haitien nonstop to the US.

He added that rather than backtracking through Port-au-Prince is a pretty great gift to give as the holiday season approaches.

He said that this route shows the commitment of the airlines to guests in Cap-Haitien, and to the Haitian American population living in South Florida.

Spirit has operated flights to Haiti since 2007.
