On Friday and Saturday, the people of St Kitts and Nevis were given free eye examinations for the people. The initiative is being supported by the partnership between “The Joy Project” and “Eyes First.”
The project has been working for the benefit of the children of the country. The Joy project has shared some images from the project. The officials have shared that it is important for the administration and stakeholders to organize such events regularly.
As part of the Vision of Joy Programme, the stakeholders spent two full clinic days to provide eye exams to more than eighty children across the island. The initiative was supported by Dr Andrew and his team.
The officers have shared that the children were given thorough exams and follow up care suggestions. The officials have shared that it is crucial for the students of the country to get these check ups done more regularly.
The officials have shared that out of the eighty one children who got tested, several children were identified to be needing corrective lenses. As a part of the initiative, the people of the country will be getting their prescription filled free of cost.
The Joy Project has shared that they are grateful for the support that they have received from Dr Andrew and his team. The officials have also thanked the stakeholders of the eye first organization which has been working with the members of the community.
The officials have shared that all the partners of the project have given their best and most exceptionally for the initiative. The project and participants have shared that the members of the community for the people of the island.
The officials have shared that the members of the community will be given the opportunity to access such facilities. The parents were also given a vote of thanks for their cooperation allowing for the success of the initiative.
