The National Intervention Team Drum Crops of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force delegation is representing St. Kitts and Nevis at the 2026 Anguilla Summer Festival. The announcement of their participation has been made on the RSCNPF social media page as the team prepared to depart.
The National Intervention Team Drum Corps is travelling to Anguilla to attend their first international residential camp. The camp is an eight day initiative which commenced on Saturday August 1 and will conclude on Saturday 8, 2026. Moreover on the last day of the camp they will participate in the festival Anguilla’s Grand Parade.
During the camp all the federation drummers are gaining first-hand experiences in the instrument practices. Throughout the camp they will engage in other several activities including structured training, mentorship and cultural exchange.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force made the announcement regarding the delegation participating in the camp at the Aungilla festival 2026. The Police Force said, “The National Intervention Team Drum Crops of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has gone regional, and we could not be prouder”.
The Police Force further explain that a group of young drummers representing the federation at the festival is not just a normal trip but it is a milestone. According to the Police Force, representation at a regional stage is an opportunity for the young drummers to showcase their talent.
The RSCNPF said, “This is not just a trip, this is a milestone, this is the moment when a group of young people from St. Kitts and Nevis steps onto the regional stage and shows everyone what discipline, unity, purpose look like in motion”.
The RSCNPF also extended their gratitude to Sgt Charmaine Audain and the entire National Intervention team for shaping young minds into outstanding drummers who can lead, shoe and carry the federation’s name with pride wherever they go. The Police force thanked the parents, sponsors , partners and supporters who believe in young minds.
