Pakistan Cricket team won the 2nd test match of Pakistan Tour of West Indies by eight wickets on the fourth day of the match. On the fourth day the West Indies team resumed their 2nd innings on 103/6 after 40 overs. They added only 14 more runs to finish on 117 all out in 46.1 overs.
On the fourth day Justin Greaves and Kemar Roach opened the batting for the West Indies team. Both players lost their wicket early Mohammad Ali dismissed Greaves’ wicket and Ali Usman dismissed Roach’s wicket. Shamar Joseph scored 9 runs in 8 balls and contributed to the West Indies final score and Jamal Warrican scored 2 runs in 2 balls.
Moreover, due to injury Brandon King did not play in this innings which led to the end of the 2nd innings of the West Indies team. Ali Usman and Sajid Khan both dismissed the 4 wickets of the West Indies team and Mohammad Ali took 1 wicket.
The West Indies team gave the Pakistan team a target of 74 runs. Azan Awais and Imam-ul-Haq opened for the Pakistan team 2 innings. Both the players gave a good start to the team with Awais 18 runs in 49 balls and Haq scored 9 runs 13 balls.
Additionally, West Indies bowler Shamar Joseph took the wicket of Awais and Jayden Seales dismissed the wicket of Haq. After the loss of two wickets, Pakistan team Captain Babar Azam and Abdullah Shafique led the team to win the match. Both the players shared an unbeaten 50 runs partnership. Shafique scored 24 runs in 51 balls and Azam scored 24 runs in 30 balls.
The Pakistan Tour of West Indies ended in a draw with each team winning the one match. The first test match was won by the West Indies Cricket team and 2nd test match was won by the Pakistan Cricket team. The title of players of the series were also shared between both the team players Justin Graves from the West Indies team and Babar Azam from the Pakistan team.
Notably, the 2nd test match of the series which commenced on August 2 concluded on the 4th day on Wednesday August 5, 2026 at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain. The first test match was held on July 25 to 28, 2026 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba.
