The owner of one of the most feared goats in Clarendon is trying to part ways with it, which the owner said could take the place of any guard dog around the house.
Owner of the goat, Richard ‘Sashy Dread’ Joseph, named Checka, said that he has decided to rid himself of the ram because it is becoming increasingly vicious.
He said that right now, he can not even take his eyes off of the animal. The last couple of times when he took his eye off him, and he realised that the ram was watching him and he realised, that the ram would buck him straight while he was not looking, so he kind of got afraid of him. Plus, the animal is taking a lot of his time because he has to be watching him all the time.
Joseph said he had lost count of how many people have been attacked by Checka, and he stated that the ram goat drives more fear into some persons in the community of Effortville where it lives.
He said that Checka buck down dozens of people until he lost count.
Joseph added that it is a good thing that he lives good with people or else the ram would cost him a lot of money for the damages.
The owner said that the people are more afraid of the goat in the community than the gunmen.
He estimates that the goat weighs about 100 lb and is a cross between the Alpine and Boer breeds.
He said that he is prepared to part with the animal, through a raffle, and that the buyers could not be attracted for the animal because of its size.
