St Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week goes forward with Grill Fest, Taste at Twilight

St. Kitts Grill Fest and Taste at Twilight are the next big evens driving food enthusiasts out of their homes and into the Streets. Both the events are part of the ten-day St Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week and will be held on July 26 and July 27 respectively.

The St Kitts Grill Fest is scheduled for Saturday July 26 and will start at 1:00 PM and run till 9:00 PM. The event will take place at Frigate Bay Lawn with several food enthusiasts, chefs and cultural enthusiasts in attendance.

The second event, Taste at twilight will start at 5:00 PM on Sunday, concluding after four hours at 9:00 PM. For the Taste of Twilight, people of St Kitts and Nevis have to gather at the St. Kitts Eco Park.

The St Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week is all set to bring unique twists to the food which they have to create using tamarind as one of the ingredients. At the grill fest, the participants will compete in four categories, Chicken, Fish, Pork, Lobster

In the Chicken Category, participating grillers are:

  • Alexis Decosta (Loochie)
  • Shiniqua Cannonier
  • Gavin Williams,
  • Kyla Huggins (Chi-Lax Grill).

In the Fish Category, participants are:

  • Cleavon Chumney (Chumney’s Historical Flavaz)
  • Michael Browne (Jangeezy)
  • Jacqueline Rose
  • Victor Rouse.

In the Pork Category, grillers include:

  • Cleon Francis(Pappy)
  • Keon Monzac (Bug’s Grill Spot)
  • Gregory Williams (Hungry Man Bar & Grill)
  • Marlene Ramsey, and Ricardo Stewart (Smurf).

Finally, in the lobster category, participating grill workers are:

  • Amour Ritchen (Big North)
  • Romaine Belgrove
  • Ashton Duporte
  • Dave Martin (Mugsey)

The St Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week is more than just a food festival. It is a tourism experience for the travellers who want to experience, culture and cuisine.

The grill fest will also feature Caribbean Exhibitions from the British Virgin Islands and Anguilla. The attendants of the St Kitts  and Nevis Restaurant Week will get the opportunity to taste the flavours from these islands.

At The Taste at Twilight event, attendants will get the experience of a gormet evening featuring a delicious three course meal created using Tarmarind. The tickets for The Taste at Twilight are available to purchase online.
