With the elections in St Kitts and Nevis closer than ever, The People’s Labour Party (PLP) hosted a “Colour Me Orange” Election Rally on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Conary Lawn, starting at 7:OO PM.
Supporters of The people’s Labour party, all “Coloured orange”, showed up in huge numbers to support the political party. Colour Me Orange was termed a “massive success” seeing the number of people who showed up to show their support to the leaders of the PLP.
“Colour Me Orange” featured a number of local artists of St Kitts and Nevis, who played an instrumental part in making the event an astounding success. The official Facebook page of the People’s Labour Party (PLP) shared glimpses of the rally, thanking the attendees and the artists for the successful execution of the
event.
The significant and prominent leaders of the People’s Labour Party (PLP) were also in attendance at the event and interacted with the youth of the region about the upcoming elections.

The leader of the People’s Labour Party (PLP), Dr Timothy Harris, also shared the event’s details on his Facebook profile, asking supporters of the political party to attend the event.
Later, Dr Harris shared the Post from the “PLP Youth”, which outlined the promises made by the People’s Labour Party to the country’s youth.
These promises included:
-A Reduction in VAT to 10%
-A $3000 liveable wage for EVERYONE
-A PAP increase to $1000
-$500 Child Assistance for parents
-$5000 will be invested into a University Fund for every child.
The people’s Labour Party promises to deliver a secure future to the citizens of St Kitts and Nevis. Every nominated candidate of the People’s Labour Party has signed contracts with the people of their respective constituencies with the promises to work on the development of the constituencies and ensure the quality of life of the citizens of St Kitts and Nevis goes up by a long shot.
