Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Dr Timothy Harris on Monday addressed a very exclusive event at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. He promoted the Citizenship by Investment Programme of the country and referred to it as the “fastest and safest” route to a second citizenship.
During his address on Monday evening, Prime Minister stated that St Kitts and Nevis had been a pioneer in the Citizenship by Investment industry since 1984.
He said that the Sustainable Growth Fund Option (SGF) allows applicants to apply for second citizenship for a family of four at USD 150,000. PM noted that the exciting pricing is only valid till 31 December 2021 and is giving a discount of USD 45,000 as the actual cost is USD 195,000.
Prime Minister Harris was also accompanied by the delegation from St Kitts and Nevis. The attendees included Social Development and Gender Affairs Minister Eugene Hamilton, CEO of the Citizenship by Investment Unit Les Khan, Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Ian MacDonald Liburd, St Kitts and Nevis’ ambassador to the UAE Justin Kareem Hawley and others.
Furthermore, Prime Minister stated that the CBI Index released by the PWM Magazine of the Financial Times ranked the Citizenship by Investment Programme of St Kitts and Nevis “Number one”, “Fastest and Safest” CBI around the world.
The CBI Index is a yearly report released by the Financial Times’ Professional Wealth Management (PWM) magazine. The results are given on the scoring received by the programme in nine pillars: ease of processing, due diligence, citizenship timeline, family, and Mandatory Travel or Residence.
“Citizenship by Investment is number 1 programme after year by year in the world”, said the Prime Minister during his address at an event in Dubai.
St Kitts and Nevis hold a history of more than 35-years of leading the field of economic citizenship. In 1984, St Kitts and Nevis launched the “Citizenship by Investment Programme”. It was the first nation in the world to introduce the Citizenship by Investment Programme. Since then, CBI Programme has gained multiple honours and a reputation as the ‘platinum standard’ of Citizenship by Investment Programmes.
