The theme of 37th Independence anniversary: “Resilience, Innovation and Security for Independence 2020”, captures the challenges of 2020 posed by the COVID-19 Pandemic accurately.
Honourable Akilah Byron-Nisbett, Minister of Health and Chair of the Independence Committee said during August 25 edition of ‘Leadership Matters’, that the theme reflects the times in which we are in this year and indeed brings the need for us to be resilient and innovative if we want to ensure a secured and stronger future.
Minister Byron-Nisbett also congratulated the theme winner for her contribution to the celebrations this year.
A call was made for submissions for the official theme for the 37th Independence anniversary and 57 entries were received.
