The St Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) NextGen SKN candidate for Sandy Point, His Excellency Kenny Douglas, has wished Ms Marilyn Richards, the mother of Deputy Prime Minister Hon Shawn Richards a speedy recovery following a vehicular accident on Sunday.
According to reports, the one vehicle accident occured in the Bourkes Estate area. Ms Richards was the lone driver and no one else was injured in the accident.
“My heart reaches out to both him and his mom. I am happy to learn that she did not sustain any extensive injuries. She only received minor injuries to her face,” said Douglas, the former St Kitts and Nevis Ambassador to the Republic of Cuba.
Douglas expressed his regards to both Ms Marilyn Richards and Hon Shawn Richards.
Douglas is challenging Richards for the St Christopher 5 seat in the upcoming general elections.
