St Kitts and Nevis has announced the schedule for July 2026 which will be celebrated in the country as the Culinary Month. This is the first time that the restaurant week, which is an annual tradition of the country, is being expanded in this manner.
The programme will feature Food Events, Local Dishes, and a Focus on Tradition of the country. This year, the celebration of the island nation’s culinary genius will take up a whole month in celebration of 10 years of what began as Restaurant Week.
This year, the programme has grown into a broader, month-long series of events with a large number of restaurants taking part in the celebration and making sure that the programme reaches a wide audience. The Culinary Month will have a mix of events which have previously attracted food enthusiasts from across the globe.
The schedule includes tastings, dinners, live cooking events, and local showcases which will be hosted across venues including beach bars to hotel lawns. This year, the main ingredient of the Culinary Month is Carrot and Passionfruit which will be used as the main ingredient in all the food prepared during the month.
As per the organizers of the event, both the ingredients will show up throughout the month during various events in different forms. Carrot appears in juices, cakes, and traditional preparations tied to home cooking. Passionfruit will be seen in the through sauces, desserts, and cocktails, with its sharper flavor carrying through each dish.
The same ingredients will be handled in different ways, depending on where which restaurant the people will be visiting
The Food That Defines The Islands
Alongside the event lineup, the month will also explore the dishes that have long defined St. Kitts and Nevis.Goat water which is one of the island specialities will also be heavily featured in the lineup.
What’s On The Calendar
The schedule runs throughout July, with events which will take place across both the islands of St Kitts and Nevis. Early in July, Restaurant Week promotional events will begin at venues like Chill Beach Bar. A St. Kitts Tasting Showcase will be organized at Eco Park, bringing together local chefs and vendors for an afternoon of sampling.
Across the water, a Nevis Tasting Showcase at the Mount Nevis Hotel lawn mirrors that format, with a focus on Nevis-based cooking.
There are also single-night events that bring different parts of the scene together.
At Frigate Bay Lawn, a Grill Fest will be hosted with focus on open-fire cooking and local meats, The event will run from the afternoon into early evening.
At Queen City Bar & Garden, an R&B event pairs live music with food and drinks over several hours.
Hotel venues are also part of the schedule. Park Hyatt St. Kitts will host Cook, Sip & Glamp, combining food with a more structured evening format.
Toward the end of the month, Taste at Twilight takes place at Orchid Bay, closing out the series with a multi-hour event built around local cuisine.
There are also recurring dining experiences, including themed dinners like Flavors by Carambola, which run on multiple dates throughout the month.
