New JNF General Hospital moves towards construction phase, receives approvals

The construction of the New JNF General Hospital has been progressing towards the construction phase. The contractors have received the approvals for all the site plans for the project including the feasibility and environmental and social impact study. 

The officials have shared that the members of the community for the people of the island for the people of the island. The officials have shared that the stakeholders from all over the country were present at the site of the construction project. 

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew was accompanied to his visit to the site by the Ambassador of Taiwan Edward Ling-wen Tao. Ambassador Leon Natta nelson and the Ministry of Health officers were present at the site. The JNF General Hospital stakeholders were present at the site. 

The Prime Minister has shared that construction of the new climate smart hospital will start in short order. The Prime Minister was present for the symbolic handover of the site to the contractors, Overseas Engineering & Construction Company.

The Prime Minister has shared that they are at a point where the construction for the hospital can go into the physical territory. The Prime Minister also confirmed that the ceremonial handover gave the OECC formal access to the site. The preparatory works will be starting soon for the construction of the building. 

The Prime Minister took the time to reaffirm that the hospital will help in providing people with a modern, climate resilient, state of the art hospital to the people of the country. The officials have shared that the hospital will be designed to meet the current and future healthcare needs of the country.

The officials have shared that the members of the community will be able to bring the people access to a more resilient healthcare sector. The officials have shared that they have received formal approval of the hospital’s designs and drawings, bringing the project to the end of its first major milestone.
