St Kitts and Nevis welcomed two cruise calls for the final weekend of the month bringing thousands of passengers to the shores of St Kitts. The Carnival Dream Cruise ship made their sixth stop in the 2 week Eastern Caribbean Cruise.
The ship departed from Texas earlier this week and has made stops at Key West, Florida; Grand Turk, San Juan and St. Thomas. Carnival dream docked at Port Zante on Saturday and brought a large influx of passengers.
These passengers disembarked the vessel and explored the quaint beauty of the island nation. The tourists also had the opportunity to explore the offerings of art and craft, food and drinks and much more from the island.
After finishing their call and spending a day on the island, the ship will next dock in St Maartin and St Croix.
On the other hand, Disney Magic, which is on their Halloween on the High seas Caribbean Cruise for the week have chosen Basseterre to be their first stop. The passengers of this ship also disembarked, giving the tour and taxi operators significant business for the weekend.
The arrival of the two cruise ships, with all types and ages of passenger and crew has solidified the position of St Kitts in the Cruise Tourism Map. The nation has, over the past few months of off season, welcome several thousands of cruise passengers to their shores.
The island has also welcomed the inaugural call of the world’s largest cruise ship, star of the Seas in a historic ceremony earlier this week.
The tourism industry of St Kitts is growing with every passenger and cruise connection that they are building. The cruise season has also started for the year 2025 and the arrivals are expected to increase manifolds in the upcoming months.
